Downtown building dedicated

Updated July 21, 2021
On July 20, 116 S. Grant St. was dedicated to Col Joseph Mohamed Sr. USA (Ret) and Shirley M. Mohamed in a small ceremony.

Over the years the family believed this building should be an extension of city hall. So much so they named the building Civic Plaza and sold it to the City of Roseville in 2019.

This allows Roseville Electric Utility to eventually occupy two floors to combine utility programs, billing, and public counter services in a convenient, single location for customers. Recently the Downtown Post Office moved into the ground floor.

Thank you to the Mohameds for their service and dedication to our community.
