This July, join Roseville Parks, Recreation & Libraries (PRL) for National Park and Recreation Month, as we celebrate how Roseville is stronger, more vibrant and more fun because of what parks and recreation does in our community every day.
“July is the perfect time to celebrate how our park and recreation professionals in Roseville support the community and provide essential services,” said Parks, Recreation & Libraries Director Jill Geller. “Our team is leading initiatives and providing opportunities for people of all ages, abilities and identities to achieve healthier lifestyles, promote and understand nature, and come together as a community through a variety of programs and services.”
This year National Park and Recreation Month celebrates 40 years with the theme of Build Together, Play Together.
Together, we’re building and maintaining sustainable parks and natural areas for current and future generations.
Together, we’re building thriving communities focused on health and wellness.
Together, we’re building high-quality programs and spaces accessible and inclusive for all.
Together, we help people play and connect - through fitness, cultural arts, picnics, events, out of school programs and so much more.
We hope you help us build together and play together throughout the month by celebrating alongside us via interaction with our social media channels, attending programs and events, or by visiting our parks and natural areas. If you have a chance, take a moment to express your appreciation for the amazing PRL team who makes all this possible.
Happy National Park and Recreation Month!
