Roseville PRL is a finalist for the prestigious National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management. The Gold Medal Awards program honors communities in the United States that demonstrate excellence in parks and recreation through long-range planning, resource management, volunteerism, environmental stewardship, program development, professional development and agency recognition. Roseville previously won the Gold Medal Award in 1972.

This 5 minute video was created to showcase PRL and to assist the judges in making final awards decisions but we thought everyone would love to see it. The Gold Medal Awards are presented by the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration (AAPRA), in partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA). The winner was announced at the 2022 NRPA Annual Conference in September. While we didn't win the award we are still proud that we were named one of four finalists in the nation in our category!
