While Roseville is a FEMA Class I community when it comes to flood preparedness, every year brings some risk of flooding. This flood risk can change over time because of weather patterns, changes to development, and other factors.
To ensure the public has the most reliable information, FEMA studies and updates flood hazards in communities like ours to ensure flood hazard maps are accurate. FEMA has evaluated the community and updated the maps showing changes to certain flood-prone areas.
In spring 2024, affected properties received a letter from the City of Roseville about FEMA’s changes.
You're invited to attend this community meeting to ask questions about the preliminary flood maps, and discuss insurance options with FEMA and City staff.
This is also a chance to learn about the 90-day period, starting on January 18, for submitting comments if you believe there’s an error in the updated maps.
