New traffic signal, bike and pedestrian crossing completed at Junction and Park Regency

Updated April 25, 2019
An improved crossing for bikes and pedestrians has been completed at the intersection of Junction Boulevard and Park Regency Drive.

The upgrades provide a more direct connection for trail users traveling across Junction Boulevard. These changes also improve the route for students walking and biking to nearby schools. The improvements include:
•  A new traffic signal,
•  Wide green crosswalk for better visibility and safety,
•  Separate signal push buttons allowing more crossing time for pedestrians and less time for bicyclists, and
•  A leaning rail so bicyclists waiting to cross the street don't need to dismount.

The $530,225 improvements were paid for by the Transportation Development Act. No City of Roseville General Fund money contributed to the project.
