New online resources
The California State Library is providing local libraries with professional development and job skill platforms, designed to help Californians and their communities recover from the pandemic. This means that you will now be able to access new online resources for free using your Roseville library card.  These platforms provide resources for small business startup, digital skill building, test prep, and certifications, among other learning opportunities. The platforms currently include:

Learning Express Brainfuse Library
Assists in exam preparation, including the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST), California Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSET), California Real Estate Salesperson exam prep, and the California Police Officer Exam. Also provides tools for resume building, interview and job seeking.

LinkedInLearning
Focuses on the skills needed to land jobs that are currently in-demand and provides professional certificates that can be added to a LinkedIn profile. Provides courses in English, Spanish, Mandarin and four other languages.

These databases are provided in partnership with the California State Library. They are supported by the America Rescue Plan program and will be funded for one full year, through September 2022.
