Community Yard Sale Vendor Rules & Guidelines
Location: Mahany Fitness Center
Registration & Participation
All vendors must be registered in advance to participate in the Community Yard Sale.
Each registration includes one assigned vendor space within the event area.
Vendor spaces are assigned by event staff and may not be changed without approval.
Items for Sale
This event is intended for personal household items only (e.g., clothing, toys, décor, books, small furniture).
No commercial vendors, resale businesses, or mass-produced retail items are permitted.
All items must be legal to sell under California law.
Food sales, alcohol sales, and services are not permitted.
Set-Up & Display
All items must remain within your assigned vendor space.
Displays may not block walkways, ADA access routes, fire lanes, or building entrances.
Vendors are responsible for setting up and breaking down their own areas.
Tents, tables, and displays must be weighted and secured if applicable.
Parking & Vehicle Access
Vendor vehicles may enter the event area for unloading only during designated load-in times.
No vehicles may remain in the vendor area once unloading is complete.
Vendors must park in designated parking areas as directed by event staff.
Blocking traffic lanes, fire lanes, or pedestrian paths is strictly prohibited.
Hours of Operation
Vendors may only sell during the official event hours as advertised.
Early set-up and late breakdown outside approved times are not permitted unless authorized by staff.
Clean-Up
Vendors are responsible for removing all unsold items, trash, and materials from their space at the end of the event.
Items may not be left behind, donated on-site, or placed in City trash receptacles.
Vendor spaces must be left clean and free of debris.
Conduct & Safety
Vendors are responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful, and family-friendly environment.
The City of Roseville is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Vendors assume all liability associated with participating in the event.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate removal from the event and/or exclusion from future City-sponsored events.
