We are open every Friday and Saturday from 9am to 2pm. 

Historic Site Trail is free admission and welcomes drop-ins.

Museum visits are open for reserved entry only. Groups must be 6 or fewer and reserve entry time before arriving. You can reserve your Maidu Museum visit online here.

Gift shop is open during open hours and is available for drop in visitors.

Visit the Maidu Museum & Historic Site to learn about the Nisenan Maidu who called this place home for thousands of years. The exhibits inside the museum feature California Indian traditional practices, such as acorn processing and basket weaving. Walk the trail to see hundreds of bedrock mortars, ancient petroglyphs, and native plants and animals.
