The train will be on viewing display 1 - 5 p.m. on Friday, April 10, and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 11.

On Saturday, the City will be offering additional activities at the Vernon Street Town Square between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., including a Maker’s Market and live music. Stay tuned for more information. If you are interested in being a vendor for the Maker’s Market, click here.

The monthlong  tour, which starts March 29, will honor Union Pacific’s celebrating 250 years of American independence and innovation.

Big Boy No. 4014 will be joined by two commemorative locomotives, including the railroad’s newest locomotive: No. 1776 – America250. It’s a tribute to the signing of the Declaration of Independence and is the official train for the United States' 250th-anniversary celebration.
