In collaboration with Placer County Infant Development Program, Senses at Storytime is an immersive literacy experience that focuses on the senses, feelings, social emotional development, and language. Throughout the Storytime kids will have the opportunity to move and discover individual uniqueness as well as how much we all have in common. Emotional regulation techniques will be introduced as well as feelings, needs, actions, and imagination to cope with emotions however big or small. Vision Specialist, Occupational Therapist, and Speech and Language Pathologist will be accessible for questions regarding their child’s development for a period of time after Storytime.
Begins Wednesday, February 4. Wednesdays at Downtown Library from 9:30-10:00am.
