2023-00025929 5/21/23 6:50 PM Grand Theft 1197 Galleria Blvd. Suspect entered a department store, selected items and then exited without paying. Two of the suspects were apprehended by Loss Prevention and booked into the SPCJ.

2023-00025778 5/20/23 7:11 PM Robbery 1197 Galleria Blvd. The suspects selected various merchandise inside the store. The suspects used force and fear while being apprehended by loss prevention. The male suspect made criminal threats towards the loss prevention officers. One female suspect was taken into custody. The two other suspects fled scene. The female suspect was booked into SPCJ.

2023-00026928 5/6/23 10:40 PM Fraud 5100 Block of Foothills Blvd The victim received a call from someone posing as an Amazon representative. The person told her that her account had fraudulent activity on it. The victim said the caller then sent her to various people ending in a person posing as an FBI agent. The victim said the unknown subject told her there was multiple fraudulent accounts created in her name and the best way to protect her money was to withdraw it from her account and purchase Bitcoin. The victim followed instruction provided by the suspect to withdraw over $30,000 worth of money. The suspect directed her to go to Arco and deposit the money into the Bitcoin ATM. She said she did so and later she realized she had been scammed.
2023-00026113 5/10/23 1:00 PM Fraud 2990 Foothills Blvd A business owner said that someone used his business email account to transfer all the funds from his business loan. The loan was being used to build a new carwash on Foothills Blvd. The business owner stated someone gained access to his email account that the car wash company had set up for him. The individual pretended to be the business owner and emailed the loan officer requesting full payment. The business owner did not know how someone would have gained access to his email account. He stated that he was out of the country during the time the individual was pretending to be him. The business owner was not checking his email while he was on vacation.

2023-00026373 5/23/23 11:05 PM Robbery 900 Pleasant Grove Blvd Two females acted in concert to steal items from Walmart. During the theft, one of the suspects pushed a shopping cart into an employee standing near the entrance/exit of the store. Both females then fled in a silver jeep.
