3/25/26 2:53 PM VANDALISM SECRET RAVINE PKWY On March 24, 2026, at approximately 11:00 AM, the victim reported that their garage was closed and secured with two additional personal locks. The garage could only be opened using a remote. On March 25, 2026, at approximately 1:15 PM, the victim discovered the garage had been vandalized. Both added locks (a loop lock and a Master Lock) had been broken, and the garage door had been pried open approximately one foot. At the time of the report, it was unknown whether any items had been stolen. Prevention Tip: Reinforce garage doors with internal locking mechanisms and consider installing motion-activated cameras or alarms to deter forced entry.

3/30/26 8:06 PM ROBBERY VERNON ST The victim reported arranging to purchase a gold chain listed on Facebook Marketplace for $2,000. The victim communicated with the suspect and agreed to meet in a secluded area away from the busy Vernon Street corridor. After traveling from Stockton, the victim notified the suspect of his arrival. Upon meeting, the suspect asked to see the money, and when the victim displayed the $2,000, the suspect lifted his shirt, revealing the handle of a black firearm. The victim stated he feared for his life and complied with the suspect’s demand, handing over $2,000 without resistance. After taking the money, the suspect fled on foot, and the victim believed the suspect entered a nearby vehicle occupied by other individuals. Prevention Tip: Conduct transactions in well-lit, public locations such as designated safe exchange zones, and avoid meeting in secluded areas. If confronted during a robbery, prioritize personal safety over property and report the incident immediately to law enforcement.

3/25/26 2:20 PM VANDALISM ROSEVILLE SQ On March 25, 2026, at approximately 8:00 AM, the victim was notified by an associate of vandalism to a work vehicle. The associate had conducted a routine inspection before refueling the truck. While refueling, fuel began leaking from underneath the vehicle. The victim later discovered a hole had been drilled into the gas tank, indicating an attempted fuel theft. The estimated cost to replace the tank was approximately $1,000. Prevention Tip: Park work vehicles in secure, well-lit areas and consider installing surveillance cameras or anti-siphoning devices to prevent fuel theft.

3/29/26 2:58 PM PETTY THEFT GRAPE ST The victim reported expecting an Amazon delivery containing a medication pill container. At approximately 3:00 PM, the victim discovered the package was missing from the front porch. Review of Ring doorbell footage showed that at approximately 2:54 PM, an adult male walking a dog approached the porch, removed the package, and walked away in the direction he had come from. Prevention Tip: Use secure delivery options such as parcel lockers, require signatures for delivery, or retrieve packages promptly after delivery notifications.

3/27/26 5:20 PM PETTY THEFT Beatty Way The victim reported ordering an electric bicycle, which was confirmed delivered by FedEx at 2:48 PM on March 27, 2026, and left at the front door without a required signature. Upon returning home at approximately 5:00 PM, the victim discovered the package was missing. Prevention Tip: Request signature confirmation for high-value deliveries or have packages held at a secure pickup location.

4/2/26 7:28 PM BURGLARY LATHWELL WAY The victim stated that she last observed her jewelry on March 26, 2026, typically stored on a dresser, in drawers, and in a jewelry box. On April 2, 2026, at approximately 7:15 PM, she returned home and noticed the jewelry was missing and that the dresser drawers had been rummaged through. Missing items included three pairs of earrings, two necklaces, and three bracelets, with an estimated value of $5,900. The victim reported no known suspects. Prevention Tip: Store valuable items in a locked safe and consider installing home security systems to monitor unauthorized access.

3/31/26 11:44 AM FRAUD SHENENCOCK WAY The victim reported that on March 14, 2026, she contacted a subject on Facebook Marketplace regarding a rental property. The suspect requested a $250 application fee via the Chime app and directed the victim to download the Opendoor app to access the property. The victim and her husband toured the vacant home using a code provided by the suspect. Afterward, the suspect requested an upfront payment of $1,850, which raised suspicion. The victim then contacted the real estate agent listed on Zillow and learned the property was for sale, not for rent, confirming the incident as a scam. Prevention Tip: Verify property listings through official real estate channels and avoid sending payments before confirming ownership or legitimacy.

3/28/26 8:30 PM PETTY THEFT ICE HOUSE The victim reported ordering four pairs of sandals from Amazon, which were delivered on March 28, 2026, while the victim was away. Upon returning home at approximately 8:30 PM, the packages were missing from the front porch, despite delivery confirmation and photo evidence. Prevention Tip: Arrange for deliveries when someone is home or use secure delivery lockers to prevent package theft.

3/24/26 11:43 AM PETTY THEFT WILD OAT CT The victim reported being prescribed morphine on March 11, 2026, and stored the medication in a bathroom cabinet after organizing doses. During the home-selling process, multiple showings occurred on March 18 and 19, followed by open house events on March 20 and 21 with numerous visitors. On March 22, 2026, the victim discovered that the morphine bottles and an additional bottle of oxycodone were missing from the cabinet. Prevention Tip: Secure prescription medications in locked cabinets, especially when allowing access to the home for showings or open houses.

3/30/26 1:03 PM FRAUD WHISTLESTOP WAY The victim reported being contacted by an individual claiming to represent PayPal, who stated her account had been compromised. She was then transferred to individuals posing as Federal Trade Commission (FTC) representatives. The suspects instructed her to safeguard her assets by converting them into cash and gift cards. The victim sold jewelry at pawn and coin shops, receiving approximately $170,000, which was later collected by individuals posing as FTC agents at her residence. She was also instructed to purchase Target gift cards and provide the card numbers. The victim has not had further contact with the suspects. Prevention Tip: Government agencies do not request payment via cash, gift cards, or in-person collection—verify all such claims independently before acting.

3/31/26 8:45 AM GRAND THEFT BOSSA NOVA WAY On March 30, 2026, the victim parked his vehicle beside his residence after confirming it was secured. At approximately 8:00 AM the following morning, he discovered all four tires had been removed. The vehicle had been placed on cement blocks, and additional damage, including black marks and dents, was observed on the left side. Prevention Tip: Park vehicles in secure, well-lit areas and consider using wheel locks or surveillance cameras to deter theft.

MISTY RIDGE DR MAIL THEFT MISTY RIDGE DR On March 27, 2026, the victim checked her mailbox and discovered two packages were missing—one delivered on March 23, 2026, and another on March 25, 2026. The loss was discovered after her housemate also reported stolen packages. The estimated value of the missing items was $240. Prevention Tip: Use locked mailboxes or parcel lockers and retrieve deliveries promptly to reduce the risk of theft.
