Commercial EV Site Assessment Rebate Program

If you are considering adding EV charging stations at your business, often the first step is an EV site assessment with a qualified contractor to help determine types of chargers and where they could be installed. Our EV site assessment rebate program is designed to help offset the costs of this initial step and provide the opportunity to get in contact with us early in the process.

Program guidelines

  • Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The acceptance of an application by Roseville Electric is not a guarantee of rebate payment. If a rebate is approved, it will be processed in the order received until funds are exhausted or the Program is terminated.
  • Correspondence with Roseville Electric staff does not guarantee a rebate. An application must be received and approved with a confirmation letter from the rebate processing system, and Program funds must be available.
  • By submitting an application, you are agreeing to the program’s requirements and Terms and Conditions.
  • Roseville Electric reserves the right to modify the program at any time and additional requirements may apply.

Program requirements

  • One site assessment rebate per commercial customer account. Site assessment must be completed within the past 90 days or building permit must be issued within the past 90 days.
  • One project incentive per commercial customer account. Building permit must be issued within the past 90 days. To receive a project incentive, you must also be applying and approved for the site assessment rebate.
  • Total incentive payment may not exceed the cost of the site assessment.
  • Project sites where the EVSE will be installed and operated must receive service from Roseville Electric Utility.
  • Site assessment must be for the installation of new EVSE at a location where EVSE did not previously exist. Must include a preliminary site plan with the location, number, and types of EVSE, existing load, new loads (kW), removed loads (kW), and proposed panel size. Site assessment must include a one-line electrical diagram.
