Everyone is Drawn to the Library! For this year's National Libraries Week (April 19-25), we're celebrating art in all its colorful forms and expressions.
Throughout the week, enjoy art lessons with Derek from Creative Art Center where kids ages 5-17 can learn to draw their favorite character with pencils, markers and oil pastels.

Enter our all-ages Comic Strip Competition, running all month long! Create your own comic for a chance to win—one winner will be selected in each category: ages 0–5, 6–12, and teen/adult.
Pick up a comic strip template at any Roseville Public Library location and design your entry in the library or at home. When you’re finished, submit it at the front desk at any location. Winners will be announced the first week of May.
Bubblemania
Experience a bubbly, high-energy show the whole family will love at the Maidu Community Center on Wednesday, April 22 from 3:30–4:30 p.m. All ages. Free, drop-in.
Rainbow Party
Enjoy double the color on Friday, April 24 from 4:00–5:00 p.m. Start at the Project Play Playground behind the Riley Library with chalk art, then head to Mahany Park for a lively colored-powder celebration. All ages. Free, drop-in.
