Calling all young artists! Roseville Utilities' youth art contest is back, and we want you to get creative. From now until August 5, we want you to break out your crayons, color pencils, paints, and any other medium you choose to show us what your Roseville Utilities (garbage, water, wastewater, and electric) mean to you and your family.
We Are Your Roseville Utility
Using the theme “We Are Your Roseville Utility,” go wild with markers, crayons, colored pencils, whatever you want to use for the poster contest. You can do a combination of any of the ideas below, too! We are looking for entries that illustrate how your utilities impact your life, such as:
• The importance of clean drinking water
• How you use water efficiently
• How you save energy
• How trash service and recycling is important to our community
You can also feature what trucks we use to provide service – utility line trucks, garbage trucks, vactor trucks, pipe scope trucks, dump trucks – and the workers who help keep our community clean and safe.
Selection criteria
Entries will be screened based on message, merit, creativity, and originality by Roseville Utilities staff. We will select three finalists from each age group that will be put to a Community Choice vote on social media. The highest voted contestant from each age group will be named a Community Choice winner.
• 4 and under
• 5 to 8 years old
• 9 to 12 years old

Prizes and recognition: Finalists will receive a $50 gift card to an art supply store, while Community Choice winners will receive a $100 gift card. All finalists will receive a framed certificate, as well as their art included in a 12-month calendar.
