Construction starting for On-Route Bus Charging Project

Updated March 05, 2024
Construction of Roseville Transit’s On-Route Bus Charging Project is anticipated to start in March.

The project includes two new on-route bus chargers at the Galleria, a key transfer point for Roseville Transit and Placer County Transit services. This step will allow future electric Roseville Transit buses to provide continued service throughout the day. Construction is estimated to be completed in the Spring of 2025.

What to expect during construction
The construction work will be next to the Galleria Transfer Point. The first step will be constructing the new bus turnout and will take approximately 4 months.

Effective March 6,  Local Routes E, M, and S will temporarily move to the adjacent bus stop on Roseville Parkway. Routes A and B will continue stopping at the Galleria Transfer Point. View schedules at roseville.ca.us/local.
