The deadline to register your neighborhood National Night Out (NNO) event with Roseville PD is quickly approaching! Deadline is JULY 18. To invite RPD to your event, register HERE. *You are not required to have RPD at your neighborhood event; registration on our website is only required if you wish to coordinate your evening plans with RPD's NNO route.*
National Night Out is Tuesday, August 5. This evening is for you and your neighbors to meet, hang out, do something fun together, and build community. Knowing your neighbors and looking out for each other’s safety and welfare is one of the keys to deterring crime.
Ideas for your NNO neighborhood event:
- BBQ/potluck -- ice cream social -- dessert potluck --pizza party -- breakfast for dinner, etc.
- Photo booth
- Skills/business board: set up a bulletin board and provide sticky notes so neighbors can network and share their small businesses or services like babysitting, pet sitting, or lawn mowing.
- Water balloon fight: place buckets of water balloons around for kids and adults to have fun and cool off
- Neighborhood talent show
- Trivia/game night
