Found a cat or a kitten outside?  Alley Cat Allies, a prominent cat advocacy group, created the following useful charts that will help you decide what to do:

Remember these rules for Roseville cats:
Stray cats with no collar and no known owner, that are a nuisance but otherwise appear healthy, can be taken to the Placer SPCA Intake Shelter at 150 Corporation Yard Rd.

To trap nuisance cats on your property, you can borrow a cat trap from the City of Roseville Animal Control - call 916-774-5090 option 4 to make an appointment.

For sick or injured cats, call Animal Control (916-774-5090) or you can take them to Atlantic Street Veterinary Hospital, 1100 Atlantic St (24 hours a day, 7 days a week)

Do not attempt to handle a cat you are not familiar with because you don't know how they will react.

All cats over the age of 16 weeks must be licensed with the City of Roseville.  This significantly helps getting your cat back if it gets lost.  For information on license your cat, including an online or printable application, go to:  City of Roseville - License Online - PetData
