In honor of Library Card Sign-Up Month, the Roseville Public Library is hosting our first library card design contest! This is an opportunity for our community to get creative and design a special limited-edition Roseville Public Library card. Click here for Library Card Design Template!
Entry deadline has been extended until October 31!
Contest Rules and Information
1) The contest is open to all persons with a current and active Roseville Public Library account.
2) All information on the front of the template must be completed.
3) Design must be completed on the library card template space provided by the library. Designs not using the library’s template will not be entered into the contest.
4) Design layout can be in landscape or portrait.
5) The contest is open theme, meaning you are free to be as creative as you like. However, please ensure that all submissions are appropriate and do not include explicit or inappropriate content.
6) You may only use 2D art forms, such as: drawings, painting, print, photographs, digital art (no AI generated art), etc. Work that has 3D items will not be entered into the contest.
7) Artwork, photos, and images must be your original work (taken, generated, or otherwise produced). Do not include copyrighted images.
8) You must incorporate the words “Roseville Public Library” into your artwork.
9) Do not include any personal information on the artwork. Submissions containing personal information on the design will not be entered into the contest.
10) All submissions become the property of the City of Roseville.
11) Only one submission per person is permitted.
12) Roseville Public Library employees and family members are not eligible to participate.
13) Submit your finished artwork to any of our three Roseville Public Library locations by Monday, September 30th during regular library hours OR electronically to [email protected] by 11:59pm.
14) If you are submitting electronically, it must be in JPEG or PDF format ONLY. Images should be 300 dpi.
15) Winners will be personally notified on Friday, October 25th. It will also be announced on social media, on the library’s website, and in all Roseville Public Library locations.
