Closure of Washington Boulevard
Washington Boulevard will be closed to through traffic between Pleasant Grove Boulevard and Sawtell Road from
7 a.m. on April 2 through 7 p.m. on April 3.
Businesses and residents of Diamond K Estates will be able to access their neighborhood from the Sawtell Road end of the closure, shown in orange on the map.
Allow extra travel time. Delays are expected. Be on the lookout for construction personnel who will assist you in entering the closed area.
This roadway closure allows for expedited paving work and the necessary worker safety.

Due to high daytime traffic volumes, this work is scheduled to minimize traffic backups. The road will remain open to vehicles with flaggers directing traffic. You can expect noise in the area.
During the Tuesday night work, traffic signals will be flashing red at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Derek Place/Sawtell Road. There will be short periods where traffic will be held at intersections.
