Celebrating National Engineers Week

Updated February 22, 2022
Engineers play a major role in shaping the world we live in by bringing projects to life through their ingenuity and innovation. They make the seemingly impossible possible.

In honor of National Engineers Week, we would like to take a moment to recognize and thank our city engineers for the contributions they make to our community.

There are over 50 engineering and support staff working in various departments throughout the City of Roseville. Collectively, they are responsible for:
  • Reviewing and approving construction and development projects
  • Building and maintaining city infrastructure
  • Managing the City’s water supply and delivery
  • Water and Wastewater treatment
  • Floodplain management
  • Overseeing the City’s intelligent transportation system
  • Maintaining electric distribution systems and streetlights

"We work hard to provide quality infrastructure to the citizens of Roseville, ensuring they’re protected from flooding and can safely and efficiently travel across the city on our roadways, bridges, sidewalks, and trails. Seeing the impact our team has within our community makes me exceptionally proud to be a part of it!" -Stefanie Kemen, Public Works Engineering Manager

Thank you to all of our engineers for your commitment to public service and the contributions you make that allow Roseville to be a thriving and attractive place to live, work, and play.
