Krista Bernasconi was elected to the Roseville City Council in 2018 and reelected in 2022. She currently serves as Mayor, having also served as Vice Mayor (2018–2020, 2022–2024) and Mayor (2020–2022).
A Roseville native, U.S. Navy veteran, and proud Sacramento State graduate, Krista owns a public relations firm where she oversees daily operations and develops communication strategies. Her leadership has earned her recognition as one of the Sacramento region’s “40 Under 40,” the Athena Award, and Sacramento State’s Distinguished Service Award for professional and community service excellence.
Krista’s deep community involvement includes eight years on the Roseville Planning Commission and the Roseville City School District Board of Education.
She is also a founding board member of IGNITE Young Professionals and the Roseville City School District Foundation and a Roseville Area Chamber Leadership graduate.
An advocate for nonprofits and passionate about making a difference, Krista enjoys running and spending time outdoors with her family when she’s not working or serving the city.
