Learn how to be a library power-user. Advanced Search is your friend and here are some helpful tips:

  1. Here's the super easy part: Visit library.roseville.ca.us
  2. Click on the Advanced Search link under the search bar.
  3. Type in your search terms. You can choose keyword, title, author and other types of searches.
  4. Narrow down your search by selecting what collection through which you want to search (Fiction, Nonfiction, DVD, etc.)
  5. Some other options are to sort your results by relevance, publishing date, author or title. That's only if you want to get really specific.
  6. Did you get the results you hoped for? If not, tweak your search. Be less specific. Try different search terms.
