2020-00061817 10/7/2020 21:45 Burglary Commercial Galleria 1100 block Galleria Blvd An adult female hid in a department store until after closing but was caught by officers as she attempted to steal merchandise. When she was arrested and taken to jail, it was discovered that she brought a controlled substance into the jail. She was booked for numerous charges.

2020-00062210 10/9/20 3:27 PM Robbery Creekside 1200 block Galleria Blvd Two suspects entered Best Buy and feigned interest in purchasing a computer and drone. At the register, one suspect forcibly pulled the laptop from staff's grasp. The second suspect attempted to pull the drone from staff's grasp but was unsuccessful. Both fled the store. One suspect damaged $5,000 worth of store property while fleeing. The suspects fled the area in a vehicle. Officers located and detained the suspects in the vehicle. The stolen laptop was located and recovered. Suspects were arrested and transported to jail.
2020-00061917 10/2/20 2:30 PM Threats Stoneridge 1800 block Park Oak Drive An elementary student threatened to shoot two of his classmates while on a Zoom conference call with his class. After interviewing all of the involved parties and a thorough investigation, it was determined that the threat was not credible.

The Sacramento Sheriff’s Department located the vehicle and initiated a pursuit that ended in a crash. Suspect admitted to both carjackings and was booked into the South Placer Jail.
