Discover that the hard clay soil you love to hate is simply poor in pore space and lacking life. Together we will unearth techniques to create a healthy, diverse and functioning soil ecosystem that will improve drainage, root growth, and create drought and pest resistant plants. Join us and discover all the dirt on YOUR soil.

You are encouraged to bring about two cups of YOUR garden soil, a quart jar with a tight lid and a desire to dig into the secrets of your soil.

Workshop description

After attending the informational workshop on worm composting from 10-11:30 am, build a worm bin in this hands-on workshop. By the end of the workshop, you will be ready to start worm composting and will leave with a prepared bin. Fee includes all materials to make a completed worm bin including bin, shredded paper, spray bottle, and composting worms.

We recommend attending the free 10 am worm composting workshop to prepare yourself for caring for your worms.
