Pauline is a Registered Nurse and a lifelong resident of Roseville. She has been married for more than 53 years to her husband Richard and has four children and six grandchildren. She received her Bachelor of Nursing degree from California State University Sacramento with a certificate in Public Health Nursing.  She has worked in a hospital for over 45 years.

Pauline was elected to a four-year term in November 2018 and was reelected in 2022.  She previously served as Mayor from 1989-1991 and 2010-2012, and on the City Council from 1989-1998 and 2008-2016. In addition she served 8 years on the Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) Director District 1 from Dec 1998 to 2006 (past Chairperson).  She also served on the American Public Power Association (APPA) Board of Directors for South West United States from 1991 to Dec 1998.

 

On March 28, 1995 Pauline received “Distinguished Service Award” from CSUS Alumni Association and in

2006 received the “Water Statesperson of the Year Award” from the Regional Water Authority.

In her more than 30 years of public service, Pauline has served in numerous ways and on various local and regional committees including as a Roseville Planning Commissioner, Placer County Water Agency Director, Northern California Power Agency Commissioner (past chairperson), Placer County Water and Energy Committee Chairperson, Placer County Economic Development Board, Roseville Economic Development Advisory Committee, West Placer Waste Management Authority, and the Roseville Revitalization Committee. Her interests over the years as noted in her committee assignments involved electrical power and water issues so vital to a healthy community. Pauline keeps in close contact with city, county, state and federal elected officials and staff concerning legislation that may be beneficial or detrimental to the City of Roseville businesses and residents.

Pauline is also active volunteering her time.  She is a member of the Flying Samaritan Medical Health Team since 1988, a Roseville Soroptimist member since 1990, and was president of EXCEL Roseville which provided services to underserved children.  She has also been a member of the South Placer Women’s Leadership Coalition since 2007 and participates in 100+ Women Who Care of Placer County supporting non-profit organizations.  In addition she volunteers as a heath care professional for the Placer Veteran’s Stand Down providing free medical services for veterans and their families and the Grounds in Roseville. She also volunteers in city and community work days helping maintain local schools, parks and efforts keeping our many creeks clean and beautiful.
