About the Utility Exploration Center
The Utility Exploration Center is a one-of-a-kind environmental learning center that offers information on protecting natural resources in a fun, engaging way.
We work with our utility partners to educate the community on topics that ensure our long-term quality of life, health and well-being.

The Center is housed in the Martha Riley Community Library building. The building was the first in Placer County to be awarded Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
The Utility Exploration Center is located at 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd. (Map / Get Directions) in Mahany Park. Normal hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday (closed Sunday and Monday).
