2022 Holiday Food Baskets

Placer County Food Bank will be delivering boxes of food (perishable and shelf-stable) to 500 families in Roseville on Saturday, December 17th.  All interested applicants must complete the form below and send it back to the Placer Food Bank in order to get on the 2022 food box delivery list by December 9th. Housing Authority Annual Budget

The Housing Authority is a separate legal entity however is considered a component unit of the City of Roseville since the City is financially accountable for its activities. The financial activities of the Housing Authority are included in the City's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR); however, the Housing Authority produces its own separate annual budget which is taken to its governing body which is the City Council.

Housing Choice Voucher Audited Financial Data Schedule

Roseville Housing Authority’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program is audited as part of the City of Roseville's basic financial statements. The Financial Data Schedule (Balance Sheet and Income Statement) is presented for purposes of additional analysis as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), but is not required as part of the audited financial statements.

Roseville Housing Authority’s policy for reporting changes

Participants of the Housing Choice Voucher rental assistance program must immediately report, in writing, any changes in income or assets, and if a family member no longer lives in the unit. Failure to report changes in writing within 15 days that result in the overpayment of the tenant's subsidy amounts will be owed by the tenant to the Roseville Housing Authority.

Report changes form

Changes must be REPORTED AND VERIFIED by the 20th of the month in order for a rent decrease to take place the following month. Failure to properly report changes will result in no change to tenant portion of the contract rent until properly verified.

Proper reporting of changes includes:

  • Completed change form – incomplete forms will be returned for completion
  • Documentation of change(s) being reported (ie: termination letter, notice of action, EDD check stub, etc.)
  • Submittal of all forms needed to obtain 3rd party verification of change(s)
  • Contacting your case manager to ensure that all required documents are provided

Mainstream Voucher Information

The Roseville Housing Authority (RHA) has been awarded 33 Mainstream Vouchers to be used for lease-up in the cities of Roseville and Rocklin. Due to the strict requirements for this program and in order to reach HUD's targeted population for this limited set-aside funding, pre-applications are only available from Direct Referral Agencies starting December 24, 2018.

If you are currently on the waiting list for a Housing Choice (Section 8) Voucher, the Roseville Housing Authority mailed you a letter directly to inquire about your eligibility. Complete pre-applications received from households currently on the waiting list will be prioritized for these vouchers.

Participant Requirements:
Under the Mainstream Voucher Program, HUD is providing a limited preference set-aside funding source for households:
1. With a member who is 18-61 years AND has a disability; AND
2. Is: Transitioning out of institutional/segregated settings; At serious risk of institutionalization; Homeless; OR At risk of becoming homeless.

For an RHA Mainstream Voucher, the applicant will also need documentation of:
1. Connection with current supportive services, including an identified case manager for a minimum of six months after being housed; and
2. Completion of the local Ready to Rent Program or approved equivalent program.
