We are demonstrating our big utility trucks a little differently this year, but the fun will keep on truckin’! Big Trucks Summer will be held on-line beginning Wednesday, July 8.
Each week, we will feature a new utility, show you what their trucks can do and offer family projects related to how our utilities provide safe and reliable services to the City of Roseville.
We'll start off with our water utility on July 8 and show how their vactor truck, backhoe and dump truck work to keep our water running smoothly through hundreds of miles of underground pipe. On July 15, we will feature our electric department and you can watch our linemen climb high into the sky using bucket trucks to maintain our power lines. The following week, July 22, we'll go back underground with our wasterwater crew to demonstrate how their vactor truck and camera truck are used to monitor our sewer lines. And, finally, on July 29, we'll feature all the different kinds of garbage trucks our waste services division uses to keep our city clean and healthy.
In addition, we will add new crafts and games to our web page each week so that your family can have some fun with activities to do at home. And, watch for a sing-along video with Roseville Libraries Miss Lisa too!
