Electric bills are on the rise as high temperatures continue to soar throughout the region and people spend more time at home. While summer bills are typically higher, this year is a different story altogether.

As your community-owned utility, we care about the quality of service provided to each of our customers and understand these are difficult times.

To help, we have a number of resources available:

- Electric Rate Assistance Program: a 15% discount on electric service for residents meeting certain income criteria.

- Electric Residential Relief Program: short-term assistance program is designed to support residents who may be struggling financially as a result of COVID-19. Qualifying customers will receive a one-time credit on their electric bill.

- Partial payments: options available, including payment arrangements, partial payments or possibly extending your due date.

- Budget billing: a consistent and predictable monthly utility payment throughout the year.

- Low cost/no cost energy saving tips: visit roseville.ca.us/lowermybill to learn about ways you can reduce your energy use.
