Want To Name A Park?

Roseville residents have until 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30 to submit their naming suggestions for two new parks. The parks to be named include two neighborhood parks scheduled for construction in the spring 2013.

The Longmeadow park site, a 3-acre neighborhood in the North Industrial Area of Roseville is located off Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard and Parkside Way.  The design has been presented to the Parks & Recreation Commission and is posted on the City’s webpage: http://www.roseville.ca.us/upcomingparks

The neighborhood park site at North Central (#55B) is a 3-acre neighborhood park site, located adjacent to open space accessed near WalMart and Sam’s Club just north of the Highway 65 interchange at Pleasant Grove Blvd.  The design is posted on the City’s webpage: http://www.roseville.ca.us/upcomingparks

Name suggestions must be submitted on the appropriate form and received by the City Clerk’s Department by 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30, 2012.  Submission forms and information about the park naming procedure are available at:

The City’s Park Naming Subcommittee will review all suggestions and make recommendations to the Parks and Recreation Commission and the City Council.  All park names are approved by the City Council.
