The drug take-back drop off site at Roseville High, April 28, 2018
Thanks to all our volunteers for staffing Roseville's three drop-off spots for the Drug Take-Back event on April 28, and thanks to those of you who dropped your expired and unneeded medications off for safe disposal! Thanks to all of you, we collected a whopping 2,729 pounds of unneeded medications, getting them out of our homes and keeping them out of our water supply.

Words to the wise: Backpacks continue to be a hot item for car burglars, especially in our restaurant and retail area parking lots. Thieves know that backpacks often contain wallets, laptops and other valuable items. Never leave backpacks, briefcases or laptop bags visible in your parked car. Even if they contain low-value items, thieves don't know that--they'll break your car window to find out. Your best option is to take them with you.  If you must leave them behind, hide them in your trunk or covered cargo compartment before you get to your destination.
