2019-00013512 3/8/19 10:05 AM Fraud Stoneridge 1400 Block of Stone Point Drive The victim received an email from an unknown suspect pretending to be her boss. The email requested that the victim purchase $2,000 in Apple and Google Play gift cards for the staff. Victim was then told to scratch off the gift card numbers, photograph and text them to the suspect. Victim was able to cancel and refund the Apple gift cards. CRIME TIP: Legitimate businesses do not typically use gift cards as a form of payment. Beware of anyone asking for gift card or wire transfer payments.

2019-00014362 3/12/19 4:59 PM Grand Theft Galleria 1151 Galleria Blvd Five unidentified BMA's stole approximately $9,000 worth of merchandise from Nordstrom. The subjects exited in a silver Chevrolet.

Several thousands of dollars of tools and materials were stolen from the business, which had been secured under bolt and key.

At first, the suspects were unsuccessful but eventually made entry through an unlocked side door. Nothing appeared to be missing from the residence. CRIME TIP: Be sure to lock all doors and windows every time you leave your residence.
