2019-00032299 6/4/19 3:30 PM Fraud Stoneridge 100 Block of Oak Hill Court An unknown suspect contacted the victim and identified themselves as a law enforcement officer. Suspect told the victim he needed to pay $2,810 in gift cards to avoid being arrested. Total loss to victim is $2,810.
2019-00032433 6/5/19 7:00 AM Grand Theft Harding 1817 Taylor Road Victim parked their vehicle at the Park and Ride on Taylor Road. The victim returned to his truck and found both catalytic converters were cut at the pipes and stolen from his vehicle. CRIME TIP: Catalytic converter thefts are on the rise. Consider etching your information on your converter. Thieves are less likely to steal easily identifiable property.
2019-00034423 6/13/19 8:01 PM Grand Theft Creekside 1236 Galleria Blvd One male and two female suspects entered Best Buy and coordinated their movements to steal an iPhone valued at $1,450.

2019-00032317 6/5/19 5:38 PM Vehicle Theft Maidu 2000 Block of Polley Drive The victim called the RPD to report her vehicle had been stolen. Officers responded to the area and located the suspect nearby, driving away from the residence. Officers detained the suspect and arrested him. The suspect was booked at the South Placer Jail.
2019-00034970 6/17/19 12:48 AM Warrant Lead Hill 180 N Sunrise Ave An RPD officer conducted a vehicle check on Sunrise Ave. The officer ran a records check on the vehicle passenger found that he had an active felony warrant for his arrest out of Sacramento County. The RPD officer transported the suspect to the Placer County Jail and booked him on his warrant.
2019-00034905 6/16/19 12:48 AM Warrant Lead Hill 1925 Douglas Blvd An RPD officer contacted the suspect in the parking lot of the Target store. The suspect advised that she was on probation out of Yolo County. A records check revealed the suspect had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Yolo County. The RPD officer transported and booked the suspect into South Placer Jail.
