Many city offices are closed beginning December 24 and reopen Monday, January 3, 2022.
The City’s safety, public works, parks and utilities departments remain
staffed to provide safety and emergency services. Most administrative offices
and public counters are closed including the passport office.
Trash and recycling services
Follows its regular daily pick-up schedule.
Transit services
On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, Roseville Transit operates limited Commuter service.
Local, Dial-A-Ride and ADA Paratransit services operate normally.
No Roseville Transit service on Christmas or New Year’s Day.

- Utility customer service counter is closed beginning December 24 through January 2.
- Utility representatives available by phone 8 a.m. - noon and 1-5 p.m., December 27-30 by calling (916) 774-5300 or (800) 767-3142. Closed New Year's Eve and reopen regular hours, January 3, 2022. Self-service options are available 24 hours a day at these phone numbers.
- Through the mail and at
the two drop box locations, one by the Civic Center front entrance door
and the other on East Washington between Vernon Street and Atlantic
Street.

Parks, Recreation & Libraries
- Parks are open sunrise-one hour after sunset (unless there are planned activities with lights).
- The Roseville Sports Center and Mike Shellito Indoor Pool have modified hours on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, then are closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
- The Mike Shellito Indoor Pool has expanded recreational swim hours during the winter break (see schedule below).
- Riley Library has modified hours from December 24-January 1. All other library locations are closed.
- Maidu Museum & Historic Site is closed on Christmas and New Year's Day but has additional hours on December 28-30.
