Park, Recreation & Libraries amenity update

Before you head out to the park, we encourage you to read this information thoroughly and be sure to bring your hand sanitizer, some water and remember to use at least 6 feet of physical distancing.
This list is updated as information changes.


Now open

  • Pools – Swim lessons or those with lap swim reservations. Book lap swim at roseville.ca.us/fitness
  • Adventure Club - Distance learning childcare information at roseville.ca.us/adventureclub
  • Recreation programs, swim lessons – Limited offerings. More information on our COVID-19 Remix webpage at roseville.ca.us/guide.
  • Restrooms
  • Skate park
  • Maidu Museum & Historic Site – Open 9:00am–1:00pm, Friday–Saturday. Reservations required for indoor museum visits. More information.
  • Libraries – Sidewalk pickup for holds available 10:00am–4:00pm, Tuesday–Saturday. Open for in person services beginning Sept. 18. More information.
  • Dog parks – Parks are open but seating areas are closed. Please bring hand sanitizer for use after touching gates/fence and water for yourself and your dog.
  • Sports courts, fields, turf areas – Open for physically distanced drills or conditioning, no game play or practice (groups must remain in cohorts and follow CDPH guidance at https://covid19.ca.gov/industry-guidance/).
  • Golf courses – Tee times limited and must use individual carts, more details under the COVID-19 tab at golfroseville.com.
  • Park & Trails
  • Vernon Street Town Square Spray Ground – Open 10:00am–8:00pm daily

The decisions regarding reopening are based on a combination of information from federal, state and local health officials as well as best practices from California Park & Recreation Society , American Library Association and the National Recreation and Park Association.
