All our exploration events have free activities based around our concepts of energy and water efficiency, watershed protection and waste reduction. We welcome explorers of all ages to drop by and discover the ways our daily decisions impact the world around us. Count Watts' Spooktacular

Saturday, October 26 • 10 am - 2 pm • FREE
Count Watts is serving up some free, electrifying fun as we fight Voltage Vampries and knock out energy waste at this spectacular family event! Take a thrilling walk through the Phantom Energy House to hunt down those electronics that steal power when you're not looking. Find out how to stop those power-suckers!

Wander through our mad scientist's laboratory to experience some hair-raising experiments. Find all the owls hidden throughout the building to win a prize that will light up the night. Play games like the Lineman's Challenge and Voltage Vampire Knockdown to win even more exciting prizes. Give Count Watts a high five, enjoy spirited activities and get your face painted. Come in costume for a spooky good time.

Bird and Bug Bonanza

Saturday, February 1 • 10 am - 2 pm • FREE
A little bird told us that Bird and Bug Bonanza is the bee's knees! Buzz on in to our free, family event and you can talk to some live birds and bugs too! Flow down the storm drain on a journey to explore Cruddy Creek. Make your way through the indoor creek crawl and discover what belongs and what doesn't. Get to know some of the insects that help keep our ecosystem healthy. Peer through our microscopes to check out pond scum and hold red wrigglers right in your own hands. What can you learn from these fascinating bugs? 

Head to the game room to win prizes, get your face painted and have some fun learning how to keep our creeks and streams hopping with life!
