Campfires at the Maidu Museum

Storytelling is an important part of Nisenan Maidu culture. You can play a part in carrying on that tradition at Campfires.

Listen to Native American stories and roast marshmallows around the campfire at the outdoor amphitheater of the Maidu Museum & Historic Site. Make memories, enjoy great stories and tasty treats with the whole family Every third Friday, April through October. Event flyer

June 15 may be the last campfire program, pending budget approval.

In the event of rainy weather, the program moves indoors. Seating is limited. Please call ahead for groups of ten or more.
