Every Day is Earth Day!

Devoting a special day to celebrate the earth is a wonderful idea. But every day should be earth day. Here are a few ideas on how you can show your love for the planet we call home.

  • Use a recyclable water bottle

  • Switch to LED light bulbs

  • Shop with reusable grocery bags

  • Start a compost bin

  • Make your home energy efficient

  • Plant trees or wildflowers

  • Reduce your water use at home

  • Grow a vegetable garden

  • Clean up litter in your community

  • Build a birdhouse

  • Ride your bike, leave the car at home

  • Make your yard safe for beneficial insects
