Transportation Systems Management (Commute Alternatives)
The City of Roseville is committed to reducing commute vehicle trips and improving air quality by providing commuters with alternatives to driving alone.
Our goal is to reduce vehicle miles traveled by at least 20% - which means that if you use alternative transportation just one day a week, you are helping meet the goal. Whether you want to bike, carpool, vanpool, walk, or ride the bus or train to work, we have a program to help you.

Traffic will be heavier than normal during construction of the Oak Street Improvement Project. Plan accordingly, allowing extra time to make connections and reach your destination. To minimize delays, some Roseville Transit buses will deviate from their normal routes.
This means deviations will be slightly different during Downtown Tuesday Nights and Food Truck Mania street closure events.

During the summer months, heat combines with automobile exhaust to produce some of our worst air pollution in Placer County. Help improve the air quality and participate in Spare the Air for Bucks. You'll have a chance to win cash and prizes during July and August. Approximately one in 10 participants will win each month!
Bike lockers make it easy to cycle for work, school or errands, and are great for use in combination with riding transit or carpooling. The City of Roseville offers on-demand secure eLockers at key locations throughout the city.
