Game Day Express will be serving all preseason and regular season Sacramento Kings home games in 2017-18. Tickets are now on sale!

Because of your feedback, we've made improvements like round-trip tickets and more time to purchase tickets online before games.

Make Roseville Transit part of your game plan. Skip driving and parking and join fellow fans on non-stop bus service from Roseville to Sacramento Kings home games at the Golden 1 Center. The family-friendly Game Day Express is a safe, clean and comfortable way to travel downtown.

*Passengers paying the discounted fare must present a valid Roseville Transit Resident Discount Photo ID when boarding the bus. No other forms of identification are accepted for transit discounts. Visit us at 316 Vernon Street, Suite 150, to obtain your discount ID card, it's $3 and takes less than 15 minutes. We’re open weekdays 8 a.m. - noon and 1 - 4:45 p.m. Be sure to bring your City of Roseville utility statement (electronic or printed) as proof of residency.
If you are a Roseville resident who chooses not to obtain a discount ID card, you pay the General Public fare.

Tickets for the 2017-18 season are now on sale!

Buy tickets for one game or multiple games, one-way or round-trip. View the season's game schedule. Purchase your tickets early before they sell out! Tickets are non-refundable. 

Ticket purchases will be available until noon on game day (the business day before game day, if it's on a holiday or weekend)*. View online ticket sales deadlines. Check back often as tickets are added throughout the season.

Tickets can be purchased through noon on game day*. Visit the Alternative Transportation Office, 316 Vernon Street, Suite 150, open weekdays 8 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.

Check to see if spots are remaining. If so, you can board by paying cash. Exact change is required.

* Unless otherwise noted.


Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to scheduled departure. This gives you time to get settled, and helps the driver get everyone on board so the bus leaves on time.

Departing Roseville Time: Departure 1 hour and 15 minutes before game time.

For example, a 7:30 p.m. game time means the bus departs Roseville at 6:15 p.m.

You'll arrive approximately 30 minutes before published tipoff. That’s plenty of time to visit the gift store, stroll the concourse, and grab concessions at the Golden 1 Center.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Game Day Express travel to other events at the Golden 1 Center?
Currently the Game Day Express provides bus service to Kings home games only.

Can my child travel alone to Sacramento?
All youth, under age 18, need to be with an adult to travel on the Game Day Express.

Can I take a large group on the bus?
Yes. If you have a large group (25+) planning to take the Game Day Express, please give us advanced notice in case there is a way we can better serve your group’s needs.

I have a Resident Discount ID that I use on Roseville Transit's Commuter Service. Is this valid to receive the Game Day Express resident discount?
Yes, they are the same ID. You may present your Resident Discount ID when boarding the Game Day Express to receive the discount fare.

I have a Roseville Transit Commuter, Local, Dial-A-Ride Pass, or Connect Card. Are these valid to board the Game Day Express?
No. These are all different bus services, you will need to purchase Game Day Express tickets to ride.

I purchased my Game Day Express ticket online. Do I need to print a copy to board the bus?
No, the bus driver has a list of all passengers.

Why doesn't the bus stop directly in front of the Golden 1 Center?
For security purposes, public buses are not permitted to stop in the immediate vicinity of the Golden 1 Center. But don't worry, we stop just a quick 5 minute walk from the arena.

Can I be part of the fun without having a basketball ticket?
You don’t need to go to the game to experience downtown Sacramento. Why not see what the excitement is all about. There are shops, restaurants, and other entertainment. Buy a Game Day Express ticket and give it a try.

How do I make sure I’m on the same bus as my friends?
If multiple buses are leaving, you and your friends can take whichever one you prefer. Simply line up together and board as a group. There is no assigned seating.

Can I leave my stuff on the bus?
We’re not responsible for anything left on the bus, so be sure to take valuables with you.

Can I bring food and drinks on board the bus?
Eating, except for medical emergencies, is prohibited on all transit vehicles. Non-alcoholic drinks are permitted provided they are in a spill-proof container secured with a screw-top lid. Please note: Golden 1 Center does not allow food or drinks (including water) to be brought inside.

Where are restrooms available?
You may use public restrooms in the Vernon Street Town Square or in the Sacramento Valley Station. There are no restrooms on Roseville Transit buses.

Can you accommodate riders with disabilities?
The Game Day Express can transport passengers with mobility devices provided they can be loaded and secured safely. The bus has a ramp and the ability to “kneel” by lowering the front steps, making boarding easier. All buses are equipped with securement areas.

How will I learn if there’s a change in schedule?
If there is important information for passengers, we’ll send a notification by e-mail/text message. Be sure to sign up for Roseville Transit E-Notify.  

What if I miss the bus in Sacramento, how can I get home?
Visit for other transportation options.
