News Image

Oak Street Improvement Project Update: Based on the current construction schedule, the roundabout in the Oak Street Improvement Project at Washington Boulevard and Oak Street will open to traffic on Thursday October 16.

Work on the remainder of the Oak Street Improvement Project, which includes new traffic signals at both Oak & Grant and Oak & Lincoln Streets; improved sidewalks, pedestrian crossings and streetscapes, will continue for several more weeks.

Commuter stop temporary closure
News ImageEffective Monday, September 22: The Amtrak stop will not be served by Roseville Transit Commuter routes on a temporary basis until further notice. This change is related to construction activities at the nearby intersection of Washington Blvd. and Oak Street. Local routes are not affected.

Roseville Transit service during the Oak Street Improvement Project and downtown special events
News ImageTraffic will be heavier than normal during construction of the Oak Street Improvement Project. Plan accordingly, allowing extra time to make connections and reach your destination. To minimize delays, some Roseville Transit buses will deviate from their normal routes.

Deviations will be slightly different during special events, like Food Truck Mania, which involve street closures.

Tell us about your regional transportation priorities
News ImageWhat will our region look like in 20 years? How should we balance the transportation needs and wants of a growing region? Attend a public workshop and tell the Sacramento Area Council of Governments what you think. The Metropolitan Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy workshops will seek input from residents about travel choices, and information on how our region's transportation plan is funded.

Ride the bus to Sierra College
News ImageIt's easy and affordable to ride the bus to Sierra College. Buses travel throughout the south Placer area and can get you to campus. Avoid the cost and hassle of parking and save money on gas. Bus fares are $1.50 or less per ride. Also, travel even farther when you combine your bus trip with a bike. All buses have free bike racks.

Seeking volunteer Transit Ambassadors
News ImageMake an important contribution by giving people more freedom by teaching them how to use the local public transportation network. Trained Transit Ambassadors offer assurance, experience, information, and a friendly face to new passengers.
