Traffic signals and crosswalks being added at two intersections
News ImageThe City of Roseville is installing new traffic signals and crosswalks at the intersections of Fiddyment Rd., Angus Rd., and Parkland Way, as well as at Secret Ravine Pkwy. and Alexandra Dr. to account for increasing vehicle and pedestrian traffic through the areas. Construction is scheduled to start mid-September.

New downtown construction not expected to impact traffic flow
News ImageAt their meeting September 2, the Roseville City Council approved the construction contract for a new city office building at 316 Vernon Street replacing the existing City Hall Annex building.

The construction schedule is aggressive. The City has an agreement with Sierra College to lease a floor of the building to be ready for their semester classes beginning January 2017.

We expect to keep all streets open around the site during construction, with some short intermittent closures during the delivery of building materials.

The City of Roseville is constructing an asphalt parking lot where the existing Roseville Aquatics Complex overflow gravel parking lot is located, at the corner of McAnally and Woodcreek Oaks. Construction has begun and will last through October. Work hours will be weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work will be avoided in the road and intersection during student arrival and departure times to prevent traffic impacts.

Maintenance in these areas is necessary to guard against the need for major, more costly, street repairs in the future. Please note: residents will always be provided access in and out of neighborhoods.
