Inspection requests must be scheduled through the IVR system by dialing (916) 774-5333. The cut-off time for scheduling next day inspections is at 11:30pm the working day before the requested inspection. Calls received on Fridays may be scheduled as early as the following Monday, but Saturdays and Sundays can only be scheduled on Tuesday at the earliest.  It is necessary to have the inspection request codes when making inspection requests.

Special Note.    Effective January 01, 2011, all residential permits exceeding $1000 in valuation will require smoke & carbon monoxide detectors throughout the residence, to be inspected and verified at final inspection. Smoke & carbon monoxide detectors must be installed in accordance with (click here) CRC Section R314.6.2 and R315.2. Effective March 1, 2011, all permits installed by contractors or others will be assessed a valuation exceeding $1000 and therefore subject to this requirement.  Should you have any questions, please contact the Building Official at gpaolini@roseville.ca.us.
