Shop with a Cop

"Shop with a Cop" is a program that rewards children (ages 5 to 18) with the opportunity to purchase clothing and other necessities while shopping with a police officer. This organization was founded in May of 2011 by Roseville Police Department employees that wanted to make a difference in their community. “Shop with a Cop” is operated by a group of individuals that volunteer their time to solicit donations, identify and select children to reward, and conduct monthly shopping trips. Monthly shopping trips are funded by donations from community members and local businesses.

Children are selected to participate in a shopping trip based on the following criteria:

  • Financial Need
  • Demonstrated Commitments to:
    • Stay in school,
    • Fight adversity,
    • Avoid a gang or criminal lifestyle.

If you know a child that deserves this reward download the application and fill out the form. Completed applications can be emailed to Amy Killian at akillian@roseville.ca.us or they can be delivered in person or by mail to the Roseville Police Department, 1051 Junction Blvd. Roseville, CA 95678.
