The Roseville Police Department (RPD) has joined forces with the local Business Retailers with the creation of the Organized Retail Crime (ORC) Task Force for our community.  Major Retailers along with Shopping Center Management work closely with the RPD to communicate crime occurrences.

What is Operation Identification

Operation Identification is a citizen's burglary prevention program for use in homes and business. The Operation ID program involves the marking of property with an identifying number as a means of discouraging burglary and theft. In communities where it has been properly implemented, Operation Identification has shown dramatic results in its ability to reduce burglaries.

This incident is the latest in a series of recent robberies of a number of area businesses, including banks, convenience stores, gift shops, clothing stores, and gas stations, and has created a tense climate for businesses and local law enforcement officials…"
