New Police Chief swearing-in ceremony set for 3 p.m., August 17
New Roseville Police Chief Jim Maccoun will be sworn-in at 3 p.m., Thursday, August 17 at the Roseville Theater in Downtown Roseville.

Maccoun was named Roseville Police Chief by Roseville on July 26, 2017 by City Manager Rob Jensen replacing Police Chief Daniel Hahn who was named Sacramento Police Chief.

Roseville appoints next Police Chief
News ImageJuly 26, 2017—Roseville City Manager Rob Jensen announced today the appointment of Jim Maccoun as the city’s next police chief. Maccoun, who has served as Roseville’s assistant police chief since 2014, will assume leadership of the Roseville Police Department in mid-August. He succeeds Daniel Hahn, who is leaving Roseville around that time to become the next chief of police for the City of Sacramento.
