Purpose
In 1999, the Roseville City Council identified the revitalization of Downtown Roseville as a key objective. They determined that revitalization of Downtown Roseville was critical to the long-term success of Roseville and the region. The Council charged the Central Roseville Revitalization Committee (CRRC) with updating and reviewing the 1995 Central Roseville Revitalization Plan and with identifying and recommending policies and programs to the Council and Redevelopment Agency that would establish a comprehensive approach to revitalizing Downtown Roseville. The original CRRC was comprised of nine members including two City Council members, representatives from each of the areas in Downtown Roseville (Riverside Ave., Vernon Street, Atlantic Street and Historic Old Town,) the Chamber of Commerce and two community members. The CRRC was expanded to eleven members in 2003.

In July of 2006, the committee members voted to change the committee name to the Roseville Revitalization Committee (RRC) in order to better align with the marketing of "Downtown" Roseville.
A special thanks to former Mayor Gina Garbolino for the guidance and direction she provided as a member of this committee. In addition, please welcome our newest Council representative, Tim Herman.
