Bud Nichols Park Project (W-52)
The City of Roseville is now accepting bid proposals for the Bud Nichols Park Project. The project will include installation of multi-use turf, a restroom, children’s play areas, covered picnic area, one youth baseball/softball field, perimeter pathway, native tree regeneration area, landscaping and irrigation. The project also includes improvements on school property: a second youth baseball/softball backstop at the front of the school near the track, additional parking spaces in an existing asphalt paved fire access area, and a tennis court within the school fence. Add alternatives have been identified which include the youth baseball/softball backstop and the tennis court on the school property.
The Architect’s estimate is $1,200,000.00.
Proposals will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, 311 Vernon Street, Roseville, California, until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2010. The proposals will be publicly opened and read by the City Clerk or designee of the City of Roseville in the City Clerk’s Office at 3:05 p.m. on that same day.
A Project Manual, including all Contract Documents and the Proposal forms for bidding this project, may be purchased on-line using Brownies Reprographics Planwell™ service at http://www.browniesrepro.com. Click on the Planwell™ link. The service requires that you establish a username and password in order to download and/or order plans and specifications.

Add alternatives have been identified which include enhanced concrete at the play area, additional site furnishings, bocce ball courts, sand volleyball courts, and additional rubberized play surface in the 5-12 play area.
The Architect’s estimate is $1,200,000.00.
