Classroom Outreach Programs

Classroom outreach programs are taught at your school or facility.
60 minute program: $130
90 minute program: $170
Travel fee applies for all programs outside the City of Roseville.

Outreach Programs Offered

California Indian Life & Culture
Grades 1-6
Compare and contrast the lifestyle and culture of three California Indian tribes-Yurok, Maidu and Cahuilla-and how their material culture reflects the differing environments in which they lived. This exciting program includes photos, artifacts, presentation and activities for students.

Native California Stories
Grades K-6
Learn about California Indian Culture as a storyteller weaves together stories and songs to involve the audience in the lives of the animal people - coyote, turtle, lizard, frog and more! Program involves some multi-sensory oportunities with animal skins, sounds and movements but is mainly an opportunity for children to experience native oral traditions.
